In the current economic climate together with declining oil
prices and aging assets, there is a growing realization of the
importance of sustaining assets. This places an increasing pressure
on the workforce to not only optimize AIM systems and strategies,
but also to reduce the maintenance costs at the same time.

Integrity Management
Asset Integrity Management systems and strategies are subject
to continuous review and improvement. The next step in AIM,
Fitness for Service, is a systematic engineering approach with
different levels of assessment to examine, monitor and evaluate
assets. This information is then used to support run, repair or
shut down decisions.
